Free Printable – Clothing Labels for Dementia Caregivers

It can be difficult to find clothes with dementia that are hidden behind wardrobe doors or stuck in a chest of drawers. You know the old adage “out of sight, out of mind” that is particularly relevant for someone with dementia.

So what you can do is – label wardrobes, drawers, and cupboards! This will help facilitate daily living for someone with dementia and allow them to retain their independence in dressing.

So I’ve put together these Clothing Labels for Dementia for the most common items of clothing for men and women. Click the image below to download the printable you prefer either with a yellow background or a plain white background and each pack contains a blank page for you to add any additional items you want.

Thank you so much, these are exactly what I have been looking for to help my husband who is in the latter stages of dementia to still remain independent and in control.
I have on some of the wording had to cover over the “S” , to stop hubby attempting to put on multiples of certain items , like more than one vest or jumper as he takes every thing literally, but it wasn’t a problem just used the last blank yellow sheet and cut squares from it to cover the “S” before I laminated each one. Once again, Thank you for producing these.

    1. So glad you found these useful, maybe I should add one with single vs plural names! Thanks again for your comment, much appreciated.
